When reached by TechCrunch, Perception Companions confirmed the cybersecurity incident in a statement revealed Tuesday. Calcalist first reported the breach earlier within the day.
In its assertion, Perception Companions mentioned it detected that an “unauthorized third get together” had accessed “sure Perception data programs via a classy social engineering assault” on January 16. The corporate didn’t specify what sort of social engineering attack it skilled.
